Dear Residents, I have just received a phone call from Daniel at the Tala Council regarding the current water situation. The Paphos Water Board will be conducting tests on a desalination system over the next three days — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. During this period, they are only able to supply approximately 50% of the normal water volume to our area. We therefore kindly ask all residents to conserve water as much as possible over the coming days. Please: • Use only the minimum amount of water necessary • Avoid watering gardens or plants • Please switch off irrigation systems • Refrain from filling swimming pools if possible If the desalination tests are successful, normal water supply should resume on Sunday night or Monday morning. If the tests are unsuccessful, a further three days of testing may be required. Your cooperation is extremely important and greatly appreciated. Thank you very much, Craig Elsdon-Dew President, KVHA
