They took the decision to clear the St. Nikolas complex in November. They gave the order to police a few days ago, and only went to raid the place the next morning. By that time most of the immigrants had heard about the plans and dispersed, to god knows where. Other immigrants live in other areas too, not just that one appartment complex.
So that didn't help much. One of the reasons for the protest, was a fight that broke out yesterday on the main road of Chloraka. After a car accident, 3 africans and a cypriot got into an argument wich escalated. The africans started chasing the cypriot around. Other cypriots from surrounding buildings/cafes rushed to help, and a big brawl broke out.

@1153336476Кто мы обсудим? Это киприоты по рождению должны решать, это их страна и их решение, но градус недовольства растёт среди местных, в лимассоле уже дороги перекрыли молящимися🙈
